Can I Still Fly This Battery?

Don't take any chance.. it's not the flying it's the recharging and the chance of burning your house...

It honestly looks like it has little damage so you could probably safely use it, but what I do when my batteries get damaged is use them for charging other batteries, powering goggles and other stuff. Just smell the battery and if it is a sweetish smell, throw it away, but if not, charge it on a low c rate and only charge to 4.1v.

What if I charge it outside? I did already storage charge it but I kept a close eye on it, the only thing i only have three batteries total, this battery is still flew after the crash and. My other battery I had I was flying and it fell out of the sky and is toast and won’t even charge. So if this one is done then I only have one battery left and I lost 60 bucks. Which is a lot of money bc I don’t have a job. So I don’t know what to do, everything is falling apart man.

3 with the drone but only one got it damage, it’s a new battery less then 3 flights on it

Like @CarsonGreenlaw already mentioned if it has a sweet smell dont use it as it is toast. another thing to watch out for is if it swells (getting bigger). Lipos are expensive, if you still want to use it charge it slowly and always have a close eye on it, if nothing happens in the next flight its propably safe to use it further. If you want to be really save, discharge it and throw it out.
