Troubleshooting Grinding Motors: Should I Clean or Fly?
Hi there,
So I tested the motors and 2 of them have grinding sound....
Is it just dust ?? And should I take it apart and clean it but I know it is painful and sketchy 😕😕
Is it okay to fly like that ?
I went flying with this sound, but I didn't know if the oscillation where from the motors or from the windy weather
It's easy to pick up some magnetic sand in your motors after a crash. You don't want to run the motors until you remove it, it can damage the motor. You can try blowing it out with your mouth, works ok! Or, you can purchase compressed air in a can to remove it, or, do like I do and keep a compressor in my van to blow the motors clean. 😁
