I love flying close to trees. It really gives me that roller coaster feeling.
Crash recovery is set to on. Helps a lot when I kiss a small branch.

I've just started, but I did turn on crash recovery (cheers to Bardwell) - I've just started so it's very reassuring to hear and see that it works well for for you. Thanks for sharing the info, you helped a noob. 🤷♂️

I am kind of a noob as well. Been flying this meteor 75 pro since may. Been flying avata 2 before that but that is kind of different. So hard to do freestyle. This is the first time I can freestyle irl

Top effort mate - way ahead of me. I'm sticking to going around and around and around a big wide field for the time being. One weird thing that was unexpected for me was landing, I knew how to take off but not how to land - never practiced on the sims - just took off and go until I crashed and reset.
LESSON TO ME - If you know how to go - you also need to know how to stop. 👍

You always get down, one way or another.
The avata 2 autolands in sport and normal mode. So i used to put it in this modes before landing. Not anymore though.
Even now I sometimes switch to angle mode on the meteor before landing if i feel the landing is a bit tricky.
But i mostly disarm on the first bounce…
