New to FPV: Should I Get a Starter Kit or Buy Goggles?
Hello everyone, I’m new to the fpv hobby. I currently have DJI mini but want to get into the real deal. I have a Taranis Q X7 I purchased a while back to start on a simulator. I’m looking into possibly getting a starter kit or just start building off what I have. Looking at the Emax EZ Pilot pro kit. Or something similar to that. Or should I just buy some googles like the Walksnail avatar HD and a BNF tinywhoop?
So my dilemma is if I get a kit then I’m ready to go for less money but not in HD. Or just buy everything individually for more money. And what route should I got.
Any pointer will help. Thank you

You could start on analogue and work your way up. There's a steep learning curve, and you should give yourself time to learn on cheaper low powered gear.
You'll need a couple of quads - plus spares - to stay airbourne/not grounded by repairs.
Analogue parts are a lot cheaper...so there's more carefree flying with them.
I'm coming across many people complaining bout the WS Vtx durability.
Look into the ELRS protocol.
You can get an analogue happymodel mobula6 quad (£85) mobula8 (£100). Mob6 is good for indoors, for night, or days you can't fly outside.
Radiomaster Pocket Radio Controller ELRS (£60)
Goggles are the big purchase (£150-£500) that you'll have for years.
Start small , work your way up.

Whoops are great because they are very durable, i break my 5" almost every time, or I dont go full send because I dont want to break it. With whoops its like, do whatever u want, flip it over and do it again. I will always recommend starting with whoop to everyone! 65 meteor or mob6 is amazing choice.
