GX12 Antenna Mod: Dual Band Antenna Setup for My Radio
GX12 antenna mod. Two duel band antenna attached. I was hoping there was a better selection of duel band antenna, but I grabbed the only antennas I could find. I really like this radio. I’m a pincher and I have zero issues with placement like everyone said I would. Maybe it’s how I hold my radio.. I do hold it strange because my hands go numb. I can hit all switches while pinching. Maybe I have long fingers 😆 just ordered a stand for this radio. Hopefully it’ll still fit in its case. Guess I’ll have to make a new case if not. Anyone have a suggestion on a large transmitter case or bag, with foam inserts? Maybe a good backpack with dividers. Lmk if you have a good recommendation. Thanks.

Ordered Boxer Crush today - it was so hard to decide between boxer and GX12. 😂 great to hear yours fits well. ps. was there supposed to be image attached or?

What color is your Boxer Crush? I wish I waited until the GX12 crush came out. They have some nice colors. I’m trying to convince radiomaster to make some clear shells for the GX12. I think it would look great. Either way I imagine the crush shells will eventually be available. I will order a new shell when they are. I’d probably go with the neon green, if I can’t get clear. I’d put rgb inside the shell if I could get clear. It should be a thing.

I tried a couple times to post images. For some reason they aren’t showing. Idk why…I’ll try again. The boxer is a decent radio. I think you’ll be happy with it. I went with the GX12 because of the Gemini dual band. I couldn’t pass it up. I’m happy I went with it for sure. The antenna mod makes it that much better.

I've had trouble with posting photos a couple of times as well. I just assumed they were damaged but I dunno I thought it was a bit weird an unknown like it it got hit by a stray cosmic ray or something but I see other posters mention it as well...
