Definitely! With 28–55 mΩ per cell, all three packs have high internal resistance and should be retired from flight use. They’ll sag under load, run hot, and imbalance quickly - fine for bench tests, but unsafe for flying.
Thank you so much Liquideath I was totally clueless about battery IR. There is so much to learn as a beginner. I found out the hard way and would like to share a video that might give other beginners a 'heads up' about battery maintenance. I would really appreciate it if you checked it and hopefully give it your blessings before I make it public. It is a very short video 1.12 long and is unlisted.
Looks great! You could add a quick note on testing internal resistance - what’s considered normal (2–10 mΩ), when to retire a pack (30–50 mΩ+), and a reminder that LiPos/Li-ions should never go below 2.5 V per cell - 3.0 V is already the edge. Stay safe!
Thank you, yes your right the key information is missing - looks like a few re-edits are in order. This is a really new unknown territory for me but you just confirmed what I thought I understood about IR mΩ levels. (thanks)
