Speedybee App Users: Pros and Cons to Share?
Do any of you use the Speedybee App? I've just gotten comfortable with Betaflight and this seems very user friendly...almost too friendly lol. Anyone have pro's or con's they could share?

I use it all the time. I haven't had any issues with it so far and I'm using it on my android phone

cons: it can be buggy and is not officially supported by betaflight afaik. If youre on android, you can get normal betaflight as an apk on their github, its far superior

Ok, just got the darwin240. I do have a binding phrase set for my radio. I am able to connect to the speedybee app and it sees the FC just fine, but I cannot figure out how to bind it. HELP

@NullNullZero Thanks, but that is where I started. FC firmware is 4.1.1. Radio firmware is 3.5.2. I'm really hesitant to update the FC firmware, which would likely solve the problem.

On speedybee In receiver tab is it not showing a "bind receiver" box at the bottom left?

Ok, now it's getting even more strange. Again, I can connect to Betaflight fine, but when I go into the firmware flasher, it says it can't detect the board type. I've never had that happen. Next problem, Darwin gives 2 different FC Firmware notations- MATEKF405STD, and MATEK405.
Should I be concerned that the board won't autodetect? Or could that be an issue with legacy firmware? I have sent email to the manufacturer, but they aren't quick, so thanks.

I manily stick to betaflight on the PC. just feels easier for me, But i have heard people enjoy the app. I dont know if it has all the latest features or updates however?

Every manufacturer that I have purchased from has said to update to 4.3.1 at least. The last 2 times I tried to make changes to a darwin FC, it bricked, partly because of poor documentation. Haven't figured it out yet, but I'm keeping at it.
