Is the DJI Osmo Action 4 Worth It? Jello Issues and Alternatives
Hey guys I just bought a dji osmos action 4 and I’ve been seeing a lot of videos of it having jello and also haven’t really seen it being freestyled due to weight so I don’t know what to do and I’m kinda regretting buying it, but I also don’t know what other camera to buy

I just watched a "freestyle" video where the footage looked quite good. https://youtu.be/mMqrd9nED0Q?si=TEZ1xHlISzm3GaWw
Btw there are tons of videos out there how to tackle jello...
Don't give up 😉 you can still get another cam and sell this one if you can't get it to work for you.

I m using a Runcam thumb2 pro (latest version) which is $99.99. it's not that good as a DJI or GoPro but I do like it a lot. While it doesn't take a beating by itself, it can hold it's ground when placed into a proper TPU mount. Until now I only broke an ND filter. And it's onboard mic with noise reduction works very good. I didn't have enough money to spend on a premium action camera at that time, so this was the perfect solution for me.

Okay alright, I bought the dji osmos action 4 on sale for around 200 bc I thought it was a good deal, I was willing to splurge but I’ll see how it works if I don’t like it which will be hard to judge I’ll return it. I have never edited videos and it’s my first camera so I’m kinda nervous and I don’t wanna crash and break the 300 ish dollar camera plus my battery. How do you get you mounts I can’t find stuff like that

Well I own 3d printers and therefore design and print them myself. You can find people who will do it for you if you look. Pretty sure someone in here who owns a printer and is based in the US will help you out if needed.

I have found that most "jello" problems can be solved with an nd filter. I use a nd 16 or a nd 32 filter all the time, and in most weather conditions, not a hint of "jello"! Just make sure that the "jello" problem isn't a mechanical problem first.😶
