99% Done with Manta 3.6” Build and Future Plans
99% finished the manta 3.6”. Also a little hint of the next build. I plan on removing the GoPro mount, replacing with a custom remote ID module mount. That’s all I have left for this build. Haven’t flown it yet, due to rain😕 I’ll keep everyone posted on how it flys and the upcoming build.

how big is the improvement having two antennas for radio?

It doesn’t increase the rage noticeably. It’s helpful with signal loss. It just enhances reliability over single band basically. It transmits over 2.4GHz and 900MHz. If I lose signal on one frequency, I will still have another frequency to fall back on. Less chance of a failsafe.
I just ordered a few more batteries this morning. I’ll probably wait until I get them to fly this guy. I don’t think the batteries I have are any good. They’re probably 10years old at this point.
Someone walked away with nearly everything I had, drone related this year. I’m talking a ton of stuff. A few pairs of Goggles, 40ish quads, all my good batteries, tons of components. I was left with very little, almost nothing good. Mostly stuff that’s obsolete/old.
I recently started building back My fleet. I wish I was rich 🤑 so I could replace everything more quickly, lol. I’ll definitely let you know how it flys, when I get the batteries. I also have a flyfish 3.5 build coming up. Should be a cool one. This hobby is extremely addictive. I love it. Love this website too!

Not viable in the EU as the 900mhz band unfortunately is reserved for emergency services : (
