Hallo, I am planning to build 3.5 cinewhoop. I have In stock those motors, are they good for this purpose? I saw bardwells video that there is no need to go 6s at 3.5 inch whoop but maybe something changed
That's a pretty big what if. They might be fine, but my guess is they are going to push more power than the quad is going to be able to stabilize. I don't know a lot about microcircuitry, but it seems like you could also fry the flight controller pushing that much power through the board.
Or maybe the FC won't be able to push that hard? I'm really not sure. Oscar Liang has some good reference material for motors. https://oscarliang.com/motors/
Ok if you already have them, it's probably worth trying if you really want to, but be warned. 2105 is quite a lot bigger than a 1504 (ideal-ish size).
Edit: I saw you're building a cinewhoop. So I'm guessing the reason Oscar recommends bigger motors for cinewhoops because typically you're lifting something. If you're building this to lift a full action camera (gopro/dji action), they might be pretty good for cooling purposes.
@Cheese.injection GEPRC SPEEDX2 2105.5-2650KV(6S) come with the GEPRC Cinelog35 HD.
All else being equal you'd have less power/performance and shorter flights using 4s. Cinelog35 has the weight of an air unit and complicated frame so if you have lighter components it should work out ok for flight time and power.
