I have a newly set up tinywhoop and it will not arm unless I press the throttle all the way down really hard.
what can I do to make it so it will arm without putting so much pressure on the throttle stick?
Also, sometimes I can’t even get it to arm and it will only move when I move the yaw and pitch joystick.
my gear:
-Mobula 6 AIO5 HDzero freestyle
-Emax Transporter 2 plus with ELRS
-Emax E8 transmitter
I have attached a video to show the problem.
I dont have that transmitter, but i would plug it in to betaflight, go to receiver tab, and check what the inputs are doing. If you can recalibrate the gimbals on that transmitter i would do that too
Did you try to recalibrate?

Not sure on the EMAX E8 but on Pocket radio I can manually change outputs for sticks MIN / MAX.
Run through the calibration process on the radio. If that does not work, set the "Stick Low Threshold" a bit higher. It can be found in the Receiver tab in Betaflight Configurator
good idea. Always nice to have a betaflight dev ready to help out😁
Thanks for including a video of your issue!
- It looks like you may be in, Flip Over After Crash AKA "Turtle Mode"
- verify your switch mode assignments in Betaflight Configurator under the Modes tab.
>> Learn more about the Modes Tab
I highly recommend reviewing the Betaflight Wiki, it's a great resource.
Hey, Looks like you are in flip after crash mode. You can look at this video and make sure to follow all the steps to get your drone working

Especially the bit about the modes tab. (5:50)
I have that transmitter. after about a year of use the sticks wont read exact readings. the readings will kind of jitter around above the regular kind. I recommend replacing the gimbals on your transmitter or getting a new one.
Ok I’m going to try that and I will let you know here in a minute if that worked.
thank you for your quick responses.
