I have a flywoo goku nano v3 gps with compass. It has the smallest gauge wire I think I have ever tried to solder. Don't think that'll an issue. But the wires are too short, like 1cm. I am planning to cut the wires back a bit and just extend all of them with much thicker gauge wire. They look like something close to 40 gauge wires, guessing here. I have some 30 gauge I intend to solder to them. Nothing wrong with this, right? soldering to a speedybee f405 mini stack.
Resolved. Well, after careful consideration. I just did it. No issues. Wires are going between the fc and esc, no copper tape. Takes it about a minute or less to get 8 satellites. And I keep a solid connection during flight. Haven't seen more than 13 so far, but I am not doing anything serious with gps, just wanting data.
