will making sure that my motors don't fall of keep my esc save? I'm just really a bit scared of blowing up another one right away now.

Hello

I recently build my first 5" quad (spedebee mario 5, tbs lucid pro 6s stack, xing2 2207 1850kv, o4pro and m10 gps). I crashed into a tree and a motor fell off, i assume because my screws were to loose and they were general a bit short. Now the motors seems fine but my esc doesn't initialize anymore. I can't really believe i killed my esc but i got a new one now. I also got better motor screws and will be more careful on keeping them tight. Does anyone have any tipps on what i can do to avoid killing another esc and if i can still save the old one?
