I'm getting into fpv with a 3.5" setup, and im trying to decide what batteries to get (the quad that im getting can handle 4s and 6s, so I'll start on 4s but likely upgrade to 6s at some point). im unsure whether I should get HV lipos or just standard. it seems like lots of people fly HV batteries (the GNB LIHVs seem quite popular), but also I've heard some people (like Joshua Bardwell) say that HV lipos are so much worse that its not worth using them. im on a bit of a budget and don't want to spend to much money, and if I went with HVs then I could buy more due to their lower price. is the longevity and performance of standard lipos that much better or should I just get the HVs?
(also, apparently even if you do get HVs its better to charge them to standard voltage instead of HV, otherwise they'll degrade quicker?)
