Did some cinematic flights combined with some faster elements in a great location...

Welcome Back to the hobby! There's absolutely nothing wrong with analog or flying an older frame (except for having spare sparts available). I can absolutely recommend the T-Motor F7 Pro and the F55A Pro2 ESC. I am using this for years on 4 Quads and it seems to be a solid combo.

But the newer T-Motor Velox F7 SE +V70A 8S FC Flight Controller ESC Stack (Combo about 90€ here in Germany) should work just fine.T-Motor Velox F7 SE +V70A 8S FC Flight Controller ESC Stack - Thumbnail 1The SpeedyBee F7 V3 BL32 50A 30x30 Stack is also a good Choice.

@edrone I bought these on Amazon (eu) https://amzn.eu/d/0eAgq7Tl
And for 6S this heatshrink fits well (85mm)

It's basically 2mm plastic tablecloth and I wrapped it on both sensitive sides of the battery and shrinked it again. It's a bit more heavy, but on the other hand, I hope my new batteries are lasting longer.

I almost ruined my brand new batteries while bando bashing the other day. So I've made some improvements now. Let's see if they help. How do you protect your batteries, or do you only fly in the field?

Hey everyone!

I'm sure some of you also use the ViFly Finder for your copters to locate them if you unexpectedly crash them somewhere. Have you ever experienced them seemingly being broken in winter or after a long period of disuse? Deep discharge or a defective battery? I've discovered that in many cases, you can revive them by directly connecting the battery to a 1S (3.7V) charger for about 8 to 10 seconds. The reason is indeed deep discharge, where the threshold can only be overcome with a more aggressive method. Normal charging won't help.

Maybe this will help someone.

Happy flying!

I wanted to capture the special light atmosphere: the curving LEDs of Tiger and Turtle glowing at dusk, combined with the stunning colors of the sunset.

No. Appearances are deceiving. In many countries, and also in other parts of Germany, there are far more and better bandos. It's really hard to find something here that isn't fenced off or monitored by cameras.

Here are two videos of flying in the snow. One is freestyle and the other is purely cinematic.

Let's see how much juice I can get out of this. 🤔 I also tested other LiPos instead of Tattus, but in the end I always came back to them. So far I have been using the R-Line v5 6S 1200mah.

What type of LiPos do you have the best experience with doing freestyle?

Hey Ho!

This year is almost over (at least here in Germany), and I wish the FPV community gathered here a great start to the new year and happy flying!

I've compiled a few of my flights from last year in this video. Enjoy!

Hi,
theoretically, it's possible, but it's very cumbersome because you have to connect and set up all the sensors manually. The Arduino Uno also has very little memory and very limited processing power. Real-time PID loops with sensor analysis, compensation, and attitude determination are at their limits. There's no multithreading! Everything on the loop has to be precisely timed manually. The result is that everything is incredibly sluggish, and you can't fly with it. It's a good project for learning in theory, but unsuitable for practical use.
Good luck!
