Yeah it was chinese new year start of this month so everything is a bit slower in March

Man what a journey to get here. 
In 2019 just before covid, I started building the classic "2018 UAVfutures $99 build". Now.. being a 13 year old kid with little life experience and even less money, I bought all the parts I needed to build the drone. Still learning how to solder, I broke my VTX. Gave up on the FPV dream since it was going to take months and months of washing cars to buy the goggles and vtx I still needed. 

Fast forward to last year, Jan. 2025, I buy a BNF, radio and batteries. Starting this new chapter of my life as an adult, I finally had my own money to spend. 5 Years later I was going to fulfil the dream I left when I was a kid. All I had to do now was buy that Goggles 3 from the States and hope my friend brings it back to my country (South Africa). Turns out he left the goggles in his check-in luggage and when he collected his bag from the terminal, someone stole the goggles out of his bag. +-$588 usd down the drain. 
About 10 Months later I finally saved up enough to buy a second pair of goggles 3 from a local South African supplier. 

IT WAS TIME. The moment I have been waiting 6 YEARS for was here. After months in the sim I was ready.
Safe to say that first flight was the best feeling of my life. Shaking from adrenaline, FPV was better than what I could ever imagine it to be. A true childhood dream come true.
