Thank you!! I was designing some more "universal" TPU arm bumpers to print and I was thinking the same things about the esc because my first plan was to have the power routed out the side but my 2am build sesh decided the best was out the back 😅 ( although I may change that now that you mention the fc and esc connection touching when shortening and securing the uart wires more and yes I also plan to use blue threadlocker on all of my metal on metal screws haha just test fitting everything right now and making sure the build is solid before adding any of my custom prints, also, yes I do 3D design for work so I bought a bare knockoff frame to be able to test my design ability for 3D prints. Oh and my VTX is soft mounted with thin double sided tape (we call it "banner tape" in the fab shop) instead of the thicker foam stuff but it still has quite a bit of cushion as it is basically a thick strip of gummy adhesive, thanks again for all the great advice!

Putting the finishing touches on my first 5” build, let me know what you think as it’s not only my first full size build but I also built it 100% from aliexpress so she’s my ultra budget build 😅 hoping the batteries will be here and I can get her tuned before my meetup this weekend

it depends what piece of plastic haha my Air75 II has a bit of plastic on the back of the connector that is actually useless and you can just cover the solder joints with hot glue instead but if the connector itself broke you will need to resolder a new bt2.0 connector

Anyone in the ILM (south east NC) area want to have a little meet n' fly this weekend?
took the 5" I posted a few days ago out for her maiden flight this weekend, she feels amazing 😍 Thank you to everyone in my last post for all the amazing advice! I cant wait for this weekend to take her out to somewhere with more space and really get some stick time in. Sorry if anyone was looking forward to me posting details about my planned meetup. A ton of rain, a submerged whoop, and me breaking my toe on thursday after work caused me to postpone but if anyone is down the offer is still up for this coming weekend. Message me for meetup location and time but it will be in the Wilmington, NC area
