Waste of money imo
ive Been in the rc world for a hot minute now (12 years) so I like to thing I know and understand how lipos work and how to prepare cycle them etc. but these batteries suck! The only thing that’s good about them is the price point for a six pack but trust me your gunna be buying lots because after about 5-10 cycles these thing poof then it’s game over all 30 of mine are trash after 6 months of use vs my lava 550s going on a year that still hold a charge great and still flying just as long as they did from the first flight.

Digital goodness at a price point you can’t say no to
Haven flown the Walksnail goggles L and hdzero (thanks to my kind friend) it’s hard to compare. The n3 just blow the rest outa the water in this price range, great ranger and penetration on then the video quality is great i hardly notice the latency that everyone talks about, and same with the narrow fov everyone talks about either, with a few settings changes the fov is actually wider then the walk snail goggles I found. They fit great zero light leakage and the built in fan keeps ya cool on the hot days. Dji gets a lot of hate from everyone myself included till I gave em a rip! Now I find myself reaching in my bag for these more than anything else. Sure your locking into dji only but I found that with walksnail and hdzero the only real downside of these are the built in battery that can’t be swapped out but i haven’t found that they die fast I can more go a full weekend of heavy flying without charging.

All you need
cheap easy to buy almost anywhere! The small easy to pack away in the bad size is great for days spent biking spot to spot to fly the range on it for what it is compared to other is also great I’ve gone as far as 2km away from me in the mountains where I live I was to scared to keep going 🤦♂️ I’ll own it ahaha but ya nothing to complain about here your getting a lot of radio for the price

They where great in 2024
Had these for three years now and they are great to get going but I found in my region (Canada) our local fpv shop has seemed to almost quit stocking caddex and or walksnail all together right when we started flying. I did buy them because stu ie uav features recommended them, and again these are a great little unit for a beginner but they do leave some gaps for wanting more, the goggles n3 from dji is probably gunna be the better option in the price range now days. That being said caddex and walksnail have just put out a revamp lineup so maybe more options will become available for bnf quads again but for now I’ll be flying hdzero and dji

Life saver
If your on the fence about this little piece of kit then then should be your sign to kick one up today! Ever since buying this little cell I have since had to order four my one for each of my friends! We all love it it makes setting up a new quad great no more fly a pack run home to change pids, flight modes, settings, osd etc. it’s all at the tips of your fingers now with the speedy bee app you now have beta flight right at where ever your flying. With it’s extremely small foot print it takes up next to no space in your kit and will keep you out in the field and flying longer vs having to run home to change anything with while pieces of kit you need to have!

Needs work
It’s hard for me to give this quad more than three stars for a bind and fly. Right outa the box the jello in the back yard and with the smallest amount of wind is crazy compared to my other quad with the air unit. One tiny bit of damage to a prop jello punch out jello dive jello etc. how to fix this and make this quad what it should have been you mite ask? Throw out the gem fan props right now buy some hq props is one way to limit the jello but this the big move was throwing out the beta fpv camera mount and going to a hard mount. In my case I had an extra sub250 nano 20 canopy and camera mount so i swapped it on to my meteor and it has next to know jello now and flys way nicer! I would also recommend tuning your throttle curve as this whoop takes about 36-45% to fly it feels so tuning in a sharper throttle curve and smoothing it out from the half way to 100% makes a work of difference, once you’ve swapped out the canopy for a hard mount and put good props on this is a fun little ripper but I do feel like beta left a lot on the table sadly but like I say once you’ve done these few simple things it will be fun to fly

Its ok
I’m giving this a 4star just because of how durable this whoop is. It’s a great whoop to learn on and get flying, you can crash the whoop over and over and over again and again and again and it just keeps on flying somehow! That being said a lot of the crashes are from a lot of this whoops down falls, the power to weight just isn’t there and only getting 1:30 flight time at best on the sub250 550 1s battery’s you can maybe get one or to punch outs and just flying around. It also suffers from overheating almost instantly indoors, and this was sold to me as an “indoor drone only” this drone also doesn’t give you much confidence when you start to try and push your skill level it does not like dive and or hard pull outs as it snaps outa control and becomes unrecoverable. I’ve tried multiple tunes and setting and was never able to get it to stop that. But all that being said I have over 500 flights with zero broken anything, just swapping props out from landing in gravel or dirt so if your looking for a quad that will take a hard crash this will do it and it will get you flying but just don’t expect much other then to learn how to get in the air and fly

Love this little ripper
This is a super funny quad to fly! Coming from a whoop16 also from sub250 this was a great introduction to an open prop light weight drone, paired with the 04lite makes for some great video and flying. I averag 4 minutes of flight time on the beta fpv lave 550mah batteries with some mid to lite freestyle. It comes in at 71g and you can tell when your off the throttle, it flys like a five inch is some aspects but when your rolling over a tree, coming outa a power loop and or free falling in a dive it doesn’t have the weight to carry its self out kinda like trying to throw a balloon vs a rock if that makes sense. As for the video I haven’t experienced much for jello only in higher gusting winds I have found I would pick up jello. All and all I truly light this quad and would recommend it but my only other quad has been a whoop16 with the walk snail vtx so this for me was a big jump.
