Why Does My LR4 Drone Accelerate Uncontrollably After Throttle?
Question... Built my LR4, reconfigured it for Ascent and wired a LRS unit to it... passes the smoke stopper, powers up perfect, ELRS binds easy, props off I accelerate to test motors but when I let off the throttle after 50% it starts to run away and increase its speed all by itself?...
What am I doing wrong?

You cant go up that high without props, it will mess with the sensors and run away like that.
Check fc orientation in bf, does the computer model move the same directions as the actual drone. Then re-check whole motor tab in betaflight, gotta order the motors, spin direction, dshot, etc.

Dshot is on, spin direction will be noted when props go on, and the model dose move like the drone is IRL. So this is normal with no props?

I experienced the same thing setting up without the props on - it is okay. Like AurilFPV says - "it will mess with the sensors and run away like that". When it happened to me I thought something was wrong but it is normal when the props are off. I didn't know about it either. 😀

you want to check motor order and direction before you put props on and test throttle up after the props are on. youre just thinking of it backward.
