Meteor 75 Pro 2 Overheating Flight Controller Issue
I assembled my Meteor 75 Pro 2, and I keep getting a warning after about half a minute that the flight controller is overheating even though the drone is flying and not just sitting idle. Has anyone else experienced this?

The 04 lite above might be heating the board, that would explain the overheating especially if you have the output power set high. Otherwise I don't know what could have happened other than a board defect.

as @qwo99 said, try lower/dynamic power for the vtx and make sure you have "low power disarm" set in betaflight as heat will build from the moment you plug in. If you can shorten any of the wires, that will help with air flow, which will make some difference. I put heat sinks on my o4 75mm, not sure it helped a ton, but hasn't overheated either. The full cnc cases help, but they'd be too heavy for this. you may also want to check the ESCs, if the motors are hot when you land, something else is wrong. be careful touching stuff that might be hot though. also make sure the vtx antenna isn't inadvertently touching anything.

A friend claims there's a short circuit somewhere in the controller—maybe a faulty chip or something like that.

After numerous attempts and temperature checks following the desoldering of connections from the controller, it appears that adding an antenna to the controller solved the problem—even though that wasn't what was expected to happen.
