Antenna Upgrade for Rekon 3 - Ready for Testing
Did a little antenna upgrade to the Rekon 3, now I am waiting for the weather to improve to give it a spin.

Rekon looks interesting.. what is your feedback? apart from antenna is this how it comes as a stock?

It is indeed stock except for the antenna. It flies like a brick unless paired with an Ampace JP30, the Sony VTC6 I find to be limiting its performance.
I am considering upgrading the engines to something with a bit more torque, it is currently running 1202.5, I might try upgrading those to 1203.
If a motor upgrade works out well I'll likely also install a separate ELRS RX to improve the range, although up until now I have never had any issues with the stock SMT antenna.
I really like using it for just cruising with its 10+ minute flight time.

😅 flies like a brick.. i've never done long range but this got my attention because it just looks so much different than what i have. im off to youtube to investigate more.

I’ve got the same drone and would definitely recommend it. 👍
Also agree with OP on the batteries! Ampace makes a huge difference compared to the VTC6.
