Whats the benefit of dummy, Im puzzled?

To keep the same balance or dimensions / weight as when the camera is on the drone?

I normally just remove and fly with empty mount in such scenarios 😅

I have like 30 1S lipos lying in my drawer. I wouldn't worry too much just dont leave them fully charged. I plugin usb-c in my laptop and charger, and just charge them.

Also agree with OP on the batteries! Ampace makes a huge difference compared to the VTC6.
