Can I Solder VTX to Battery Pad for More Power?
I had broken the Vtx transmitter on my DarwinFpv Babyape pro when I crashed and I got a 1W Vtx for it but it does not seem to be sending out 1W of power. I soldered the 1W Vtx to a 5v pad, but instead of soldering it to the 5v pad would soldering the Vtx to the place where the battery connects to the drone to give the Vtx more power so it can actually send out 1W of power?

Check the input voltage of the 1w VTX. If it is within range go for it. If not, no. But are you sure you just didn't set it to 1w in betaflight?

The Vtx says it has a 7-36V input. And the Vtx was set to 1w, so for it to output 1 W would I need to put the input voltage and ground wire directly from the battery pads?

@Fancy_PantsFPV I would go for it. It needs more than 5v anyways, so it wouldn't have worked properly. Nice job.
