Drone Use Prohibited During UCI Road World Championships

From Montréal police on Facebook:

"We understand the temptation to capture spectacular aerial footage, but until September 27, drone use is prohibited over and around the UCI Road World Championships.

This measure is in place to ensure the safety of the athletes and everyone attending. Since the competitions began, about ten drones have already been intercepted, including one flying near a helicopter. Please note that unauthorized drone use can result in a fine of $250 to $1,000. Thank you for your cooperation in keeping the event safe and enjoyable for everyone."
