Transitioning from Pinching to Thumbing: First Attempt
Switching from from 'pinching' to 'thumbing 👍' and this day was my first attempt at it.
My grandson convinced me to do so by giving me a brief demo on my sim - damn console kids...
I was also testing different rate profiles setup on my controller three-way switch with OSD and voice - and it all worked - amazed. I also decided to try out a 'cinematic/beginner' profile for the first time on the day as I thought it might help me ease my transition into a FPV 'thumbing god'.
First fly day for the year... lots of firsts... keeping busy.

G'day Bagel - very good chance I will end up a hybrid - dunno why but I want to give it a crack - even if it's just for the experience. I'm just a learner figuring things out. 😵💫 I'm not sure about anything. Hahaha. 😀

Also what's the advantage of thumbing? Just asking because the only reason my friend thumbs is because he's used to a game controller. Doesn't pinching give you more accuracy?
