Best Battery for Beta FPV Air65: Seeking Longer Flight Time
Hey yall, just flew my beta fpv air65 for the first time. I used 300mah tattu batteries (the old version) and I only got 2 to 3minutes of flying slow and about the same flying freestyle outside. I could only get three minutes out of them if I pushed them to 3.2 volts. I charged them up to 4.35 volts. What battery would you guys recommend to get the longest battery life.

I only have the lava batteries. haven't ran the 260 or whatever, but charging them up. I get 3-4 minutes on the 300. Air65 freestyle

I use lava 300 on my Mobula 6 freestyle and get 4,30 on dualbladed props. On tattu I'm getting around 3 mins. I find lava much better than tattu ones.

^probably the longest flight times, but the lava 300mah is what I prefer on my air65Race version; I originally slapped a ph2.0 pigtail on mine to use old batteries... my 220mah would brown-out from anything more than a hover, and crash. My gaoneng 250mah would fly flashing low battery but fly for 1:30... I swaped to the bt2.0 connectors on those same batteries ( I wouldn't recommend swapping plugs on those stick packs; difficult) and it maintains higher voltage for longer but last about 2minutes, landing at 3.15v, resting voltage came back to 3.75v.
After putting 1208x3 props, and 96k pwm firmware on escs, I get 2:10 of speedy cruising 1:50 of intense freestyle; my osd says 150mah used and by then it's at 3.15v hovering
The lava 300mah is the way to go. When I land those packs at 3.4v they come back to 3.75ish, and usually over 3min of hard ripping because the folded cells are so much better!

If you don't mind a little bit of extra weight and some battery overhang that doesn't impact your flying, webleedfpv made some long as hell 465mah 1s batteries that I was getting 7+ minutes with. They are super long though, so they do add tension to your battery connector if you bump stuff in front, but I think well worth it. https://youtu.be/drF7_iTwTmk

these comments are kinda interesting, i just logged a ticket with betaFPV for about a 70% failure rate on all my LAVA 1s 300s and 450s, as well as all of my 2S 450s, maybe 30/40sec of flight time across 3 whoops.
all less than 3 months old, with maybe 20 cycles and always returned to storage within 24 hours
8 dead of 12 450mah
7 dead of 10 300mah
7 dead of 10 450mah 2s
Where as my Tattus which are older still rip at 100% 3-4 minutes of hard flight time on almost all of them.

Okay so your saying lava gives you better flight time but poor quality and tattu gives you okay flight time and great quality?
