OK, here's what I learned the hard way — Lesson One!
When recording with the DJI O4, I kept coming back with missing footage. I tried all sorts of things, and here’s what I finally figured out:
Arm the drone before hitting record.
Sounds simple, but I lost a few recordings by doing it the other way around.
Stop recording before powering down the goggles.
Otherwise, the MP4 file may end up incomplete and won’t open properly.
Remember to download and delete your videos from the drone.
If the storage is full, you’ll only find out when you're ready to fly… not ideal.
That’s what I’ve learned so far, folks.
Seems obvious in hindsight, but when I asked around, no one really had the answer — maybe because it felt like a “dumb” question. 😉
Fly safe!
