3D Printed DJI ACTION 2 Dummy for Safe FPV Flying
I 3D printed a DJI ACTION 2 dummy, so I won’t break the real thing when I fly an unknown spot.
It’s a shame I didn’t think about it sooner, I might have saved myself from spending another $$ for a new one.
At least I finally bought it with DJI Care refresh.

Whats the benefit of dummy, Im puzzled?
To keep the same balance or dimensions / weight as when the camera is on the drone?
I normally just remove and fly with empty mount in such scenarios 😅

Yea, to keep tha same weight of the quad and the same balance. It weights the same and helps me to train without worrying about braking the real thing. They are becoming quite rare (not as session 5 tho)

Is this for training purposes? Flying in a risky new spot with the dummy and when confident, add the real thing back in?

Yes exactly. It is the same weight as a real one (56g), so the muscle memory will stay the same

Smart move. I’ve smashed enough cams to know a dummy would’ve saved me some pain too. Might have to print one now.
