I have had in total 2 goggles, first ones were Fatshark HD2, which I liked a lot. After little pause in FPV I got myself Goggles X and obviously digital is insane. Love them! However, I feel like I have to lift them weird angle to fit perfectly. And i am not fan of how it looks with analog extension. But overall very happy with them! In terms of performance, top notch!
These are my first hd goggle and it's been good but I've had some frustrations. 2s batteries can cause the system to respond poorly to input from the little joystick button. 3s or more. They do get quite warm in the summer, and defogging can be meh in Florida at certain times. There are mods for an upgraded fan but that's annoying because I believe they void the warranty. Video quality has been excellent and can't believe that it's taken this long for me to get into hd.
bougt it a month ago from official caddx site. i love the image quality when used with moonlight. i had to get 3rd party face foam to make them comftable but the standard is not verry bad. also great that it got the av in and hdmi in and out!
Huge fan of the goggles X, my only complaint is that there is a tiny tiny bit of light leak at the top where the Velcro holds on the face cushion, I'm also not a fan of the whole analog/head tracking module caddx released to upgrade the gyro instead of the user just replacing an internal board but I don't plan on using analog or head tracking so it isn't the biggest deal
Excellent goggles, change the face foam for added comfort..Use aftermarket antennas for best range and penetration. I been using mine for over a year with no issues.
With the current situation in the US it seems DJI are all but out of the market so it was time to look for something to replace my tried and true Goggles V2.
The Goggles X look just about as good as my older generation V2 FPV but they are available which makes it a win for me. My O3 air units will be phased out as the Moonlight replaces them
Walksnail Goggles X have very clear picture and are worth the price if you’re in the walksnail ecosystem. I’d like to see more walksnail drones and not always just O4 and hopefully they work on that.
Overall these goggles are pretty amazing haven't had any issues with them thus far one thing I would kind of gripe about is the boot up time takes about 30 seconds 40 seconds to get them completely booted up before it'll receive a video signal other than that though great goggles.
