SOLVED. - SkyRC D200neo & App - Unexpected LiHV Storage Behaviour - SOLVED.
Wow I was right - thought it was my noob inexperience causing a problem.
I contacted SkyRC support and after a few emails I managed to fully explain the issue. When programming a profile for a 450/550 LiHV battery for Storage charge using the APP the options presented to choose from are wildly incorrect.
Choice 1 shows the Cut-off voltage can be set to 0.00 V.
Choice 2 shows the lowest possible Cut-off voltage you can select is 4.25 V.
Choice 3 shows the highest possible Cut-off voltage you can select is 4.50 V.
None of these choices are suitable and really choosing the Cut-off voltage should not be an option when setting up a Storage charge profile and should be handled automatically.
It s otherwise a fantastic product, it works perfectly, it's just the mobile APP that has a bug. There is a work around though - use the LiPo Storage function instead as it works perfectly. It correctly identifies the ~3.85V target and stops automatically.
Here is the final email response from SkyRC Support.
Thank you for your email. I apologize for the lack of clarity in my previous message.
You’re correct—this is an app bug. In Storage Mode, the cut-off voltage should be limited to 3.85V–3.95V/cell. When I mentioned “Shouldn’t Allow to Set at 4.35V”, I meant that the app should not permit users to set 4.35V in Storage Mode.
We will fix this issue in the new app version.
