Lost RX on 5th Flight: Crashed into Tree but Electronics Survived

5th flight, was going well, lost rx, smashed into a tree.
Luckily the electronics are fine.
Got a new top speed of %$#MPH.

uggghhh I gotta finish mine, this is going to happen shortly after though haha. Did you get the crash more kit? at least the electronics always seem to be fine when they crash! idk if this helps, but E6000 glue is what I use to repair a lot of stuff like this.

Its rate that a controller drops transmission. What protocol is your transmitter, and what make/Model is it?

it can get a lot more common when you start messing with packet rates and transmission power. I keep mine at 10-100mw for flying in my home spots and sometimes forget to switch models during travel. all my radios are radiomaster with elrs.

I mean... I always transmit at 1w even if it eats my battery. No signal drop for me.

I used to do that, but it also messes with wifi and will cause the transmitter to fail faster in the long run. unless youre constantly 5km-10km out, thats a lot of heat to constantly pump away from electronics. other things like packet rates and antennas are also important. ive never had an elrs signal drop either, it just goes to lower quality if I forget to change it. but the real answer is to use dynamic power ever since they fixed it.
