Beginner Tips for FPV: Sharing Solutions and Experiences

Maybe a category to post beginner tips - I had problems found the solution and would like to share with other beginners so they can pick up useful tips.

Tips and problems so trivial that I'm sure that would be totally uninteresting to the more experienced pilots. I'm a bit reluctant to post any more to general discussions as it is a bit embarrassing to shout out how dumb/stupid your noob mistakes have been to the general population. Cringe moments.

I am definitely a beginner who is going through the process of setting up my first drone. Personally I have to do a mod to the battery holder (an easy fix) on a brand new drone so that the recommended battery would fit. Next I messed up the bind phrase process on RX/TX and discovered mismatching UID - another easy fix. I also took photos and screen grabs. As I said I'm so new that I am yet to take my first flight. So far it has been a roller coaster ride - moments of panic, doubt, fear and a terrible sinking feeling followed by elation at every successful step forward.. Getting there and hope to fly soon.

Thanks for DIYFPV mob.
