You won't get much range out of a whoop style quad since they aren't built for it... but here's what you can do:
- Set your VTX to the max power (400w)
- Set your transmitter to the max power
- Replace the stock linear antenna on the quad with a TrueRC Singularity Short omni antenna
- Use patch antennas on your goggle (either TrueRC X-Air MKII or VAS Crosshair XTREME Mini) and actually point them at the drone
you'll probably run out of battery before you'll run out of range with this setup, so maybe do some ESC tuning to get the most battery life from it.
I can share some budget options if you're on a tighter budget, $30 antennas aren't for everyone. Hope this helps!
