Well if 3d printed drones can give you a headache just slowly but steady replace the parts with other material. In my case I printed a mold and created a forged carbon fiber base plate. It was the first time I even did play around with forged carbon fiber and in the process i needed to destroy the mold because the plate stuck to the mold (broke off 2 pieces of the frame while I freed it from the mold) . So it doesnt look in any way pretty but I insteadly discovered better tuning possibilities.
I definitely will do it again to have some proper looking frame parts in the end. right now only the base plate is carbon while the top one is still made from PETG-CF. Meanwhile I started to enjoy the whole "build - fly - crash - rebuild" process alot 🤣
