Atomrc Dolphin Pro FPV 800mm Fixed Wing

Sadly I have to report that although there are some great new features and thoughtful design put into this airframe, it is just not as good as the original Dolphin.

The word Pro is a good designation though; it is a more professional version and you'll need to be more of a pro to get it flying right. So far I've tried launching this thing 3 times and all three times it has ended in airtime measured in the seconds and a broken part.

I love the built in lights, I love the roomy interior, and I love that it has control surfaces on the tail. I love the bespoke foam battery bay cover that's meant for a gimbal setup, and I love the quick disconnects for this bay cover, though I wish they had included the quick disconnects in the stock kit.

Unfortunately the CG markings seem to be off from factory and the thrust angle needs a little love. It has great potential it's just flawed.

It's got some stubbier wings than the OG dolphin, although not by much, and it seems to be less aerodynamic. A little bit heavier than the original too. I'm told this little guy doesn't seem to achieve the same speeds as it's progenitor, though I'm sure you could put a big enough motor on it to compensate.

All in all I wish I had waited literally 2 more weeks and picked up a chupito.
