If you don't know what it is, conformal coating is a specialized, micro-thin protective layer applied directly to PCBs. It acts as an invisible shield against water, humidity, dust, and conductive debris.
Why let me do it instead of hacking it at home?
Slapping chemical goo onto a board randomly is a great way to ruin a quad. Also, I don’t use standard MG Chemicals 422C. While it's popular, 422C is an acrylic blend that dries rigid, meaning it eventually gets brittle and cracks under aggressive quad vibrations and thermal cycles.
Instead, I use a premium silicone coating. It stays elastic, absorbs motor vibrations, expands naturally with heat, and absolutely will not crack.
Every build is handled with strict bench-level precision:
Bench Test: Full continuity and power checks before conformal coating.
Deep Pre-Clean: Removing all flux and oil so the coating actually sticks.
Meticulous Masking: Guaranteeing that sensitive parts, like USB ports, boot buttons, barometers, and camera/VTX pins, stay completely clean and untouched.
Multi-Layer Application: Evenly coating the FC, ESC, VTX (Analog or Digital), GPS and RX.
UV Light Inspection: Checking the entire board under a blacklight to make sure there are absolutely zero gaps in protection.
Bench Test: Full continuity and power checks before it goes back to you.
