The motors are soldered onto the ESC pads, making the drone lighter, but it is also harder to troubleshoot problems. The Meteor series from Betafpv seems more newbie-oriented, with a thicker frame and plugs on the motors. Then, it depends on your confidence with the soldering iron and willingness to buy a couple of extra frames.
