redefines 'robust'
A brutal banger! It's so sturdy, that the motors become the issue.
It's a tight build. Everything bigger that a 20x20 VTX won't fit inside without compromising the rest of the build.
In the end that was the reason I send it into retirement. HD didn't fit inside.
If you search a TrueX armored Quad I would always recommend Botgrinders frame. Unfortunately not this one. The new one. The Demibot. It's got more room for your builds.

Don't. Just don't. Its not 2018 anymore...
It's a frame so cheap you'll feel as if you ripped someone off.
Thingiverse & co provide a lot of 3D prints for the frame.
On the downside this frame was build for a different aera. A chunkin' 30x30/20x20 stack in the middle so badly placed, that you'll strugle to fit a non-nano VTX in there. On the other hand nano cams will feel lost inside. Its just disproportinate and outdated.
Under 20 bucks in the TBS store sound like a steal, but it's actually not.
I used it once: Crash on friday evening and good weather on saturday. The real spare part arrived on tuesday and the Source Two had it's glorious shine on saturday. Then went back into the void of old parts I don't think I could sell.

Flimsy antenna
The module works.
It delivers up to 1W on 2.4 GHz.
The antenna is pretty flimsy, so I unmounted the module during transport. This made the JR connectors wear out (don't know if this is on this module or my TBS Mambo) and the module hs some sudden reboots.
For this reason I mainly use Tracer.
I guess, that fewer mount/unmount wouldn't have led to my problems and would have given me a well made ELRS TX. With a flimsy antenna.
Really. If you buy this get a more rigid antenne. This one is a joke.

well, it works
The 'regular' one (with one regular antenna) just ... works.
I don't know what else there is to say.
Same size than TBS (the de facto standard size)
Same connections, than any other modern receiver.
Same signal quality than other receivers I have.
Didn't burn itself so far.
So it's ok, I guess

Works great on planes
What can you say?
It's small, so it's easy to fit in the plane
It's got ELRS, so you don't have to mind about failsafes
When using ELRS as PWM protocol please note that channel 5 is reserved for Arming and can only deliver 0% and 100%. You have to go on the receivers web interface and remap channels to avoid having a useless channel.
This annoyancs was presented by ELRS
PS: Though betaFPV is the vendor, it still works. Seems to be a good RX for flite-test-like foamies

I really like it
I had a 180g 3" with Fettec AiO and this RX/VTX. The best quad I ever had. Until it landed in wet grass and gave me magic smoke.
For Tracer pilots this little thingy is a great "keep it simple" device, though not all solder pads are placed well thought.
The VTX delivers over 1W power and Tracer is way better, than its reputation.
If I stayed on analog, I would by a few more.

Great choice
It delivers 350mW.
The mounting holes can be used to get M2 25x25 and 16x16 and M3 20x20.
What they forgot to tell is that M2 20x20 is also possible by using one of the 25 andone of the 16 holes. Fits perfect.
You also could just sticky pad it on the colling case and put a zip tie around it.
This thing is robust, light, has relatively large solder pads and jsutworks out fine. Solid recommendation for small analog builds.

Pretty good but a bit 'meh'
A pretty good VTX. The exceptional power leads to a very strong signal. Which is good for obvious reasons.
The case seems to have a high buidl quality, but is a bit annyoing to mount.
M2 from below with just a few mm into the vtx (and not through). You have to get screws exactly as long as your VTX mounting plate plus 3mm for a good fit. If you want a bit more air below the vtx you'll have to use some spacers and get new longer screws.
Another downer is the lack of soldering pads. You only get the tiny litte connector with not very long cables. I had serious issues connecting to the solder pads on my FC in my 7" rig. Had to mount the FC sideways with USB directing to the back within the frame. Pretty annoying.
If this thing fits in your quad and you get it mounted well, it's a great VTX. In any other case just get another >1W VTX if you really need that much power.

Worked great - until they didn't
Excellent googles for analog and HDMI in protocols.
Analog reception was top notch, google fit perfect to my head. A walksnail module had a great fit and a great image quality.
That worked up until some internal error appeared and the google only showed a dark ... nothing.
The replacement with my shop and Skyzone itself worked good (but took ~3 months). I now have a Sky04x v2, which is also great. And works.

Great Radio
I bought this to replace a Jumper T-Lite, which was just too small for my Hybrid-Pinch hands.
My Mambo has a Happymodel 1W ELRS Module in the back and that works out just fine.
The Tango/Mambo-recalibration issue happened only once after the shipped micro SD card broke. Since I replaced it with a proper one the radio never failed on that again.
The biggest downside is, that TBS Tracer never really took off. Don't get me wrong - 30 bucks for a receiver isn't that cheap, but still way less than the Futaba-insanity. And we don't need that many receivers anyway. The biggest bummer is, that there are basicyll no PNP aircrafts with Tracer.
Tracer itself is capable enough to never fail me, so I don't really have a resaon to change.
The Module bay wore out a bit after I attached/detached the module too often, so ELRS has now the risk of a sudden rebooting module (which I worked around by flying basically Tracer only).
Today I would propably buy a TX15, but as I have my Mambo, I don't change and retrain my muscle memory.
Big bonus: The opional transparent case: I spray painetd mine from the inside, so it has an icy look. Awesome!
