I saw your question and for those of you unfamiliar with ALDI and from my research, this is what I can update you with.

I'm in Australia so any European contributors would be better informed to answer ALDI questions as ALDI is a German company and I'm safely assuming that the variety and range of goods available at any European ALDI would dwarf the range on offer in Australia.

I did some research and ALDI in Europe did sell camera drones from time to time, both in-store and online. My research revealed that the ALDI Online store ceased trading on September 30, 2025.

The drones that were being sold were priced at 90 Euros as of early last year.

I've never seen any drones for sale in Australia but that's not to say that were available - just not to my recollection.

There are a few reviews of ALDI drones on YouTube if you're curious?

I think the best tip regarding ALDI I can offer you is to sign up to their email notification for weekly messages on what, 'Special Buys' are due in-store that week. Here in Australia the Special Buy's days are, Wednesday and Saturday. The Special Buy products for that week are normally on display for a week and then either moved to the clearance area or replaced to make way for the incoming Special Buys.

The other tip I can give you is to make a note of the time of year (month & week) items that you're interested in, arrive in store because often the same item or an updated version returns the following year around the same time.

I hope this has helped and happy budget shopping & flying to you !

Hi there FPV Groovers !

Just a money saving tip to share with you.

For those of you who live in countries where ALDI Supermarkets are, from personal experience I'd highly recommend signing up to their weekly newsletter to be informed of the upcoming weekly, 'middle isle' specials.

To most of you savvy FPV-ers, you may have already snagged some useful items for FPV pursuits @ ALDI, so this may not come as news to you.

For those of you that are unaware some great bargains can be had. ALDI items won't bankrupt you and the quality of their items are definitely not rubbish. An ALDI item will often get you by, solve a problem, without it costing you a fortune.

Examples of my FPV items bought at a discounted price are; surge protected electrical powerboards, multi-meters, hobby vice, magnetic parts trays, double sided tape and most recently, stackable storage drawers that have neatly organised all my FPV sundries.

If you ever find yourself in an ALDI store, have a snoop about and you may just find something, FPV relevant and useful for a modest outlay. The few dollars saved at ALDI can be then put towards that dreamy/must-have, FPV wish-list item.
