Depends on how you want to fly, if you want to fly freestyle or anything remotely fast or aggressive, NO. If you want to fly slow, smooth cinematic and maybe slight long range, sure.
Yea hes right. The prop wash on the avata 2 is rediculous making sharp turns in acro not my favorite. But i did learn fpv on the avata 2 if your beginning because of safety (oh shit buttons) ...i would start with a elrs radiomaster controller and download a couple a sims and get some hours in and then buy your goggles and maybe a 2 inch like a darkstar 22 or maybe a meteor 75. I will say i went with the darkstar 22 as my first FPV drone and i love it and i wanted somthing with a lil more thrust than a meteor 75 ..then i ended up getting the vapor d6 and then the seeker 35..i learned how to solder really quick and only use my avata 2 for jobs now reality, roof inspection etc.. my advice is get them sim hrs first! 🙃 im still thinking about getting that meteor 75 pro 2. Looks like some fun for gaps and such lol
@TheoHerd30 For cinematic, I would still pick something like the Pavo or a 3-5" built for cinematic over the Avata 2, because it has lots propwash as BreezyAire said, so when you try to do something just a bit spontaneous, it struggles. The one thing that the Avata 2 excels at is battery life, getting over ~15mins per pack.
