Hey everyone,


I want to get a meteor 75 pro with analog, but I don’t know if flying in the winter is different or bad for the drone.


where I live we get snow during the winter, and it is easily below 0C, 32F.


If anyone has personal experience with winter flying, please let me know.

Best analog budget goggles?

I am looking into getting an analog happymodel modula 8 with a radiomaster pocket. I don’t have any idea what goggles I should get. If you have any suggestions they would be greatly appreciated.

The only thing about analog is that... well it's analog. It is the cheaper option and has low latency, but it doesn't look great. I kind of want to start digital, because it seems like that is the direction the hobby is going in. I am still strongly considering going analog. The big thing I don't want is, for example, I looked into caddx's other system the ascent, and it had like three bnfs and not a big community around it like DJI systems. Do you think I should go analog, or do you think being stuck into one system isn't that bad?

Hey guys,


As my first FPV setup I am thinking about getting this:

-happymodel mobula8 walksnail

-Walksnail Avatar Goggles L

-Radiomaster pocket


I know I still need a charger, batteries (2s I believe), and Some other stuff. I will probably be flying primarily outside, and I want a very budget way into FPV that doesn't lock me into some obscure ecosystem.


If you have any comments please let me know.

I am now on the tiny whoop train. I am currently going to get liftoff, but haven’t because my computer needs a software fix. Do you think I should go with a different sim, because I’m riding the tiny whoop train?

Thank you so much I will definitely look into this. You are an absolute legend for this. I will probably lean more towards that first setup you had just because the dji goggles and air unit cost so much. Do you think getting a tiny whoop is better than getting a 3.5 starting out?

Hey Everyone!


I am very new to the FPV community, and I am just starting to get sim time. I feel in love with the hobby on first sight and really want to get into it.


Unfortunately... I'm broke.


I've done a lot of research on what drone I should get or even if I should build my own, but I kind of just got lost and overwhelmed by all the choices.


Here I few things I would want in my ideal FPV drone:

-budget friendly (no DJI)

-3.5 - 5 inch Tiny whoops don't really excite me, but maybe you can persuade me otherwise.

-Can carry an action cam

-dead-cat (I don't really like the look of the props on the screen)

-Can take an absolute beating

-Cheap replacement parts

-An all round nice drone


If you have any suggestions of a drone or a setup, please let me know! I am desperately lost.
