Yeah I was a rc car guy before the drone hobby. I just started I like it way more than rc cars I was just so scared i would loose it if I crashed or would break it and stuff and that I couldn’t fix stuff becuase its complicated. I saved up for close to 3 years and was able to afford beta fpv air65, and batteries, charger, radiomaster pocket, and fat shark echos. I put ten packs through it it was amazing. Then the bad stuff happened and keeped happening. There is a video problem where the black screen of death kept appearing. It took 2 months to figure out the problem. Or what I thought. Every theory being debunked. I was in debt 30 dollars because I asked my parents if I could get the goggles to start flying before the problem happened. When I got the goggles I started having the problem which I didn’t have when I flew with my friends goggles. I thought the aio had died or it was the goggles or it was the power lines . Soon enough all those debunked. I was having issues with the power. Sometimes it powered on but lights didn’t work and it didn’t connect. If I moved it just right it would work so I thought the connection is bad. And then I plugged it into wall via usbc and I still had the problem so I was like not the power. So I thought it was because it overheats but I looked it up and debunked that. Then I thought it was the connection between the camera and board. Sure enough the wires were loose and when I moved it it cut out video and osd. I was having mid flight loss of video with black screen and loss of osd.i resoldered the connection of the microscopic wires with my friends tools and help. I burnt my self with it on my finger. We were their trying to get them to stay for 2 hours. Then I tested it happy that it still worked and I still had the same problems. I told my friend let’s just try resoldering the power cable on. So we tried taking them of and it took awhile but then we tried putting them on and we kept messing them up. We managed to get the blue one on and my friend tired and without hope just said just buy a new board. He kept saying just by new this and that and I’m like James I don’t have the money nor do I want to buy new things for my drone. After another grueling hour or two. What seemed like ten. We decided to solder it on top of the hole becuase we couldn’t fit it through. By this time the wire had been cut so short from the constant retrying that the battery barely could connect with the wire fully pulled and battery all the way in the front. I tried it and had no problems at all. My black screen went away and everything. Sometimes it came if upside down but I think it was the antenna getting weak signal. I had a problem with a wavy looking camera tho and I think that was due to vibrations which was due to the battery being all the way pushed to the front. I still have to buy new power wires but it was better than buying a new aio. Also I thought it was the batteries at one point because some lasted longer than others and had more punch but I found out that wasn’t the problem. Wow I finally got it working slight problems. Hours of soldering. Hours of putting it together and taking it apart. I flew it and was happy. I went home excited to fly as the sun went down. Popped in my music and flew. I was loving it even tho I could do crazy freestyle due to the battery being off centered and large lack of movement. The second to last battery it took an okay crash and I lost video. This was normal for me I thought I pick it up unplug it plug it back in. So I got a new battey and plugged it in. No video….. I was confused and found one of our three terribly soldered micro camerwires that took forever to solder on fell off. So I said I guess I’m flying without the goggles. Set those aside and started to fly when it went up and crash imediatly. One of my props was missing a blade. I was like nooo because I have like only one or two spares of them. I replaced it went back out dying to enjoy at least something. And I started the arming sequence tried to take off and it just didn’t take off. One of the motors wasn’t spinning. The same one that people I just replaced. And I thought oh no I killed the motor. But then I realized the solder had somehow come off. So here I am in debt with a broken drone who just wants to have fun. I got to wait like another two weeks before I can get my friend to help me fix it. He has been so nice to me and even tho this expeirence has been absolutly terrible for me I am still trying and I am still going to get it back up and flying. I enjoyed every second when it worked, and I hope I may get to experience it again. If you read this far thank you for reading, it means a lot and I know it’s a lot. Sorry for the bad spelling I was trying to type fast. But yeah that’s my story hoping to get a job to get some darn money so I can finish my dream. I want to eventually get into cinewhoops and cinelifts and hard core freestyle.i wanted to get the Ymzfpv v2 but my friend convinced me to get the air65. I think it was a good choice because I can fly inside and outside. Even tho I’ve had these problems. I love tiny drones and I hope that I can get others into this frustrating, stupid, awsome, cool, difficult and fricken sick hobby!😂🤣

Oh shoot that is a lot more than I thought I said. Rip whoever reads it lol. Also ( I know I’ve talked way to much) I would love to get flight footage eventually I know that it’s not going to look the greatest because it’s going to be Dave from cheap goggles but yeah hope people will like my flying style. It’s like a mix of everything. So as soon as I can buy a sad card and figure out how to add music that’s not copyrighted, I may be able to show some flights.
