How to Create a Clear Shell for Radiomaster GX12?
I’d like to find a way to create or have a clear shell for the radiomaster GX12… Does anyone know what the best way to go about this is? 3d printing, someone out there who specializes in this kinda thing? I’d just like my radio to stand out a little. I was thinking a clear shell with added leds inside. Has anyone modded their radios with a clear shell? I’ve done this type of mod with a Rog Ally X, think it looks cool. It was easy because they make this kinda modification, you can just buy. Not sure if this is something that will be available in the future… anyone out there who could 3D print this for me, somehow?

I know for other radios RadioMaster has made clear shells. Maybe ask them.

I sent them a msg, haven’t heard back. I noticed yesterday, They have a ton of colors, just not clear. Maybe in the near future 🤞🏻

If you keep asking Radiomaster,
I'm sure they'll make some clear cases for the GX12.
They made some for the Boxer.
I personally use the TX16S MKII MAX 4-in-1 with TBS Crossfire module,
and the Bandit and Ranger modules for ELRS 900 & 2.4Ghz.
Some people don't like the full size radios.
Probably because they were "gamers". 😂
I use HD-Zero exclusively.
I gotta have the best of everything,
otherwise why......?🤔

It is a pretty cool radio. Hdzero is normally my go too. Right now, I have Walksnail goggles x. They are also not bad for my flying style. I would’ve grabbed another set of the hdzero’s, they were out of stock when I got Walksnail. Truthfully I like everything fpv, even the lame stuff is cool 😎

Are you US based?
HD Zero has a US website.
They were out of Goggs 2 when I ordered them, they just sent them to me when they were in.
Just got the new ones last week. I'm fully stoked, cause the analog module works great for close range.
I've got the Immersion RC Rapidfire module for the old ones, it's just nice not having the extra bulge on the goggles for rippin a bunch of packs. Analog's awesome for LR.

Oh,yeah.. 👍 I used to have a bunch of equipment. Someone decided they wanted my stuff more than me 😭. I’m just now trying to build back. My budget won’t allow me to replace ten years very quickly. Right now I’m only able to fly sims. Thats why I grabbed the GX12 for now. I was left with my Walksnail goggles x, and an old analog build. My Rx is frsky. Nothing I have at the moment is even compatible, 🤣 definitely planning on building something new, when My budget allows it. Gonna be a slow process…. Love the hobby so much, I won’t give it up! I could get a rx, and an analog module for my goggles. Then I’d at least be able to fly, the one quad I have left…

I’m pretty sure it’s a shipping warehouse in California. The hardware is manufactured in China. The same with the majority of fpv equipment. I wish the US was more competitive. All I know is Everyone seemed to be outta stock, so I went for Walksnail. Got them the next day. Plus at the time I already had a pair of hdzero. I’ve always been one to try the new products when my budget lets me. So I figured I’d give them a shot. Gonna be hdzero again the next time. You know how addictive this hobby is! 😜
