It's not 100% of the time, but I haven't screwed around enough on here to discover the exact steps to replicate.

Nice!  Also, I've noticed that when I hit the refresh button on my browser, it takes me down to the bottom of the home page and I have to scroll back up to the top.  Should just refresh the page and keep me at the top.

Just started a transaction on the marketplace here and it got me thinking - there should be a way to rate sellers and buyers. Kinda like ebay has. That way if someone misrepresents a sale, takes an unreasonable time to ship, etc. they can be given a low rating. Same for sellers and buyers who provide a really good exchange - they should be up voted. Maybe even a way to provide positive or negative comments on the transaction like yelp or Google reviews.

Just a thought.

I am in the process of getting a new FC from BetaFPV for a Meteor 75 pro 2 because the first one smoked when I plugged in the battery for the first time.  It took me like 10 emails back and forth for them to agree to a replacement and I'm still waiting for it.

So I get it.  But at least returns and replacements from Amazon are easy and fast - even if they shouldn't be necessary in the first place.

Either way, I think my OP is still a good idea.

Dollar Tree is full of things you can use.  Wreath frames, pool noodles, 2-foot long chemlight necklaces that you bend into a circle and connect the ends.  Etc.

Hey mods - Prime Day is coming up shortly. How about a sticky post where people can comment the best FPV related deals?

@Wraith Funny - I tasked grok to this last night.  I don't really have a CNC or 3D printer to do it, but it did create models and files for it.  I haven't dug into them enough to know if they're legit, but I may try to find a place to print/cut and try it out.  My main concern is the strength of the 3D parts.  Maybe print them in nylon.

Here's what it created, though.  AI is something these days.

@Wraith Yeah.  Screw that.  I'll just keep it going with duct tape and bailing wire.  It's old anyway, but the camera is still pretty great.  I wish the camera unit could be pulled out and repurposed into another quad, but what I'm finding online says that it doesn't work that way (unlike the O3/4 air units).  Oh well.

I'm probably going to bite the bullet and build a new cinewhoop and throw an O4 into it.  Or I could go analog as long as I build something capable of carrying a gopro, but then I'd need to throw down the cash for some decent new goggles.

I really appreciate your input, though!

Thanks.  They're out of stock, though - and like I said, I suspect they don't make them any more.  Probably ran out of original Avata users who were willing to mod their drones.  They're pretty old at this point.  (I emailed them yesterday to see if they plan on bring it back into stock, but no reply yet, unsurprisingly.)

I use DJI for drone stuff at work - mostly the Mini Pro 4, but since I already have the goggles and the Avata, I'm looking to extend the life of it without buying O3/4 air units and building other quads to do what it already does.

I'm looking to revive my OG DJI Avata and have been seeing tons of stuff online about the Axisflying Avata upgrade kit. Unfortunately it looks like I missed the boat. Nobody has them in stock and I'm guessing they quit making them. (You can find a few online for like $450-$1000, which is absurd - I can get a used Avata with two batteries on eBay for $200...)

Anyone have a line on one of these kits?
