Opinion on Lego-like DIY Drone Kit for Students
Hello everyone. I just wanted to get your first thought, general opinion on this drone. This is a Lego-like DIY drone kit designed for students to learn by assembling, configuring, programming, and flying. There is also a customization option to test different cameras, sensors, batteries, etc., through the dedicated available slots. This is a completely built drone. It comes as an unassembled form with plates, arms, propellers, and electronics all separate.

Looks fabulous, but I don't quite get the idea behind a frame this big - what are the advantages of this vs. good ol' carbon fiber + screws?

This is actually made purely for students and researchers to learn by testing different things such as batteries, sensors, etc. The battery compartment is taking up almost 40% of the space, which is delibirate due to the fact that students/researchers may need bigger batteries for more fly time during learning.
