To be clear, the Flik is made with 100% Closed-cell Expanded Polypropylene (EPP) foam; Styrofoam is extremely brittle and would become confetti on a low impact crashes. Don't confuse yourself because the two materials look identical by appearance.
I've lost track of how many times I've crashed my Flik nose first. You can tell the most damage has happened on the nose with the e6000 being stained by dirt, grass and mud ( long since cleaned up after that image ).
Tough lil plane if you ask me. It's definitely worth investing in if you want a well tested all-around platform for either LOS, FPV, or UAS. The Flik can cruise around at 10 mph or become a ballistic missile, it really depends on how you build it.
Here's a video of CrossGenRC from YouTube, flying my Flik for the FIRST TIME !! Low altitude flyby's just cruising along... He's better than me at flying extremely low, great encouragement to work on my own skills !!
