What a terrible design this camera has. I have owned maybe 6 of them, each of them has a separated lens from it's sensor. Turns out, using the shallowest of plastic threads as well as a ring to ensure focus does not ensure durability, which for the intended use case of this product is a must.
The ECO camera is a good design. Why change things for no reason? Do we seriously need focus adjustment for such use case? Oh wait, I know why! I know why! Money! Locking in the consumer!
