Love the era frame. Was the first company that I know of that used a nylon composite for a camera cage. It now comes in two different orientations one built specifically for the 04 Pro and one that is built for the 03 and different analog and HD set ups frame is pretty simple to put together. Certainly feels more robust than other frames in its category one thing. One thing to be aware of is that the frame body is very short so the build is very tight length and height wise. I would imagine certain FC stacks may be difficult to get in the frame. They now make a 3.5 version as well and that one has a higher deck height with longer standoffs to make the build a little easier… Glad they listened.
The first frame i have ever owned in the 5" size. It's a quality frame that feels great to fly, and it feels even greater to know its almost always gonna be okay after a crash.
I have beat this frame to the ground and it stil rocks on! Full speed into a container, the ground, a pile of rocks, a pole, a tree :/.... and the arm of an excavator, you name it! She stil flies like she did brand new.
The canopy is a great part of the design, i have never had to change a FPV camera in this frame (only my top-mounted DJI Osmo that did not survive the container incident, rip...)
The canopy mount for the ELRS antenna is amazing. It has keep the antenna safe and sound. No problems there.
My only problem with it was fitting the stack. Its kinda tight and i had to provide my own stack screws to get the speedybee F405 V5 stack to fit.
It's an expensive frame, but well worth the expence when it saves your other components and lasts for many many many many crashes👍👍
